Book 1 Ocean's Paradox

Here are some fun spots in Jupiter, Florida that Marisa, Avery, Enrique, and Jacob saw while they were on their search for the answer to the riddle. Click on the links and have fun exploring where they went.

1. The beautiful red Jupiter lighthouse, featured on the book cover:

2. Blowing Rocks Preserve which is right next to Coral Cove beach!

Blowing Rocks Preserve is a barrier island protected for its natural beauty, its distinctive rocky Anastasia limestone shoreline and its important sea turtle nesting beach.

3. The marine life center which also manages the Juno Beach Pier - you can pay a small fee and walk out on it or fish from it!

4. The River Center where you can go and explore and understand the Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River. They didn't get to visit the River Center during Ocean's Paradox, but they LOVE the River Center!

5. Busch Wildlife center - the kids of Coral Canal didn't get to visit this fun animal rehab center in the book, but they do go there often!

6. Jupiter outdoor center ~ if you ever get to visit Jupiter, you can enjoy excursions even if you don't have your own equipment.

7. The children talk about tagging turtles and how they are tracked! Here is the website that explains exactly how it works:

8. While they are out fishing, Mr. Fisher looks at his phone to check if one of the fish they catch is legal. This is the website/app that he is using:
