Avery's Art Contest

Competition start date: June 24, 2025.

Competition end date: September 24, 2025.

 

1. Read the riddle from River’s Treasure, book 4 of our Apex Adventures series, and, like Avery, draw a picture based on the riddle. The riddle is in chapter 1.

2. You may use pencil, paints, markers, crayons, or any other media you prefer.

3. Have your parent or guardian take a photo of your drawing (please include your FIRST NAME ONLY on the front of the drawing).

4. Have your parent or guardian email the picture to jenniferarrington@beachhousebusiness.com. Make sure that the email includes:

   • your FIRST NAME ONLY on the front of the picture

   • your age and full name in the email

5. You can submit up to three drawings per contestant. You’ll receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. If you don’t, please resend your entry.

6. The competition is open only to children up to and including age 13.

7. Artwork must be the original work of the child and not be copied or traced from an outside source.

8. Entries will be judged according to creativity and relevance to the riddle. Winners will receive recognition on Instagram and via our newsletter.

9. Winners will also receive a signed copy of one of our Apex Adventures books (winners choice!) along with a certificate. 

10. A parent or guardian must provide entries. No personal information will be shared beyond the winners' first name, unless the parent or guardian provides express permission. By entering, you grant permission for your child’s artwork to be shared on our website, newsletter, or social media, credited by first name and age only.
